Meetings & Essential Information

We meet every two weeks on a Friday afternoon 2pm to 4pm at the Memorial Hall, Market Street, Whitland. It is important that both carers and those they care for attend the sessions. As you might guess it’s essential for you both to be there because of the nature of 24 hour caring and for no other reason than basic Health and safety.

The Taf Quality Time Club (QT Club)We are an information source for carers seeking advice on Dementia related illnesses and we also have documentation regarding Attendance Allowance, Council tax reduction, and Lasting Power of Attorney.

Membership Information

Membership to the Q T Club is free and no pre-registration is required.

It is open to people with Dementia related illnesses, their carer and Family.

Transport to the club is covered by a bus service paid for by the club, for those who no longer have a license or their own transport within the club’s catchment area. 

The refreshments and entertainment are also free to members.

You are asked to support the club raffle at each session.

All money received for the sale of bingo cards is given back to members as prize


Sing-a-long, quizzes, board games, puzzles, card making, painting, flower arranging workshops, informative talks, I.T training, scrapbook making.

We are always open to suggestions for new activities and events from both members and committee.

Important Information

Carers and those they care for must attend sessions together for basic health and safety reasons. However, both parties are guaranteed to have a good time!
